UPDATE: By the end of this contest, the papercraft designer with the most count gets a prize (secret) as well, so if the designers are reading this, gather your troops/followers and tell them to vote for ya ^^

For those that didn't win last time, you now have another chance of getting some cool stuff from your favorite papercraft blog ^^.

This contest starts today and will end in January 3, 2010 11:59 PM CST (this coming Sunday). A winner will be selected using Random.org's List Randomizer and posted the following day for everybody to see. Previous winners are not allowed to join this and other Paperkraft.net contests until after a month from the day they won.

This time we've got some Sony PS3 schwag featuring Spike Video Game Awards' 2009 Game of the Year winner, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

The set includes an official Uncharted 2 Long Sleeve T-Shirt L size, tote bag, lanyard, and an official Playstation Cap.

But before we start, let me address a couple of concerns/questions that were thrown out in the previous contest.

1. Email concerns - I'm sure everyone is aware that spammers operate bots that crawl around the web looking for email addresses, that's why I specifically asked you to follow the format youremail AT gmail.com, so that it wouldn't be easy for the bots to spot or pick them up - it's not guaranteed to protect your email but it can be a deterance. If you have not done it, i encourage you to sign-up for a new email address for joining online contests and such, keeping a separate and private email for close friends and family.

2. Will you ship in my country? you can check the answer to that at usps.com or http://pe.usps.com/text/Imm/immctry.htm - if your country is listed here, then you're good.

3. Shipping and Tax - I will pay for shipping and tax (in my country, if any), if your country/customs decides to tax it (i doubt it though), that is on you.

It's official, Killzone 2 will be providing unlockable bonus content that would include papercrafts. Just read a post from the PlayStation blogs posted by Victor Zuylen (Killzone Community Editor), here's the best part:

Dead Space Papercraft

From the newly released Dead Space video game, a papercraft of the protagonist's (Isaac Clarke) Level 3 helmet and plasma cutter. There's no texture to it but the model is ok. You can either print it on colored paper or put some color and texture after its assembled.

BioShock Papercraft - Big Daddy

Big Daddies aka Protectors aka Mr. Bubbles are the hulking defenders of the Little Sisters. They wear a heavily armored diving suit (similar to Siebe's heavy-footer diving suit) and outfitted with a large drill or rivet gun on one of their hands. The Big Daddies are super strong and could only be killed after taking huge amounts of damage, they would only attack if you provoke them. There are two types of Big Daddies, the Rosies and the Bouncers. Rosies are the ones with the rivet gun and this Big Daddy papercraft is a bouncer.

LittleBigPlanet - Sackboy Papercraft 2

We can all agree that Media Molecule's Sackboy papercraft wasn't as good as we all wanted it to be, so Chamoo232 has created a better version that includes three patterns pre-colored with pink, blue, and brown skin tones. The designer has even provided some nifty accessories (glasses, headgear) to dress up your Sackboy or Sackgirl. Have fun!

LittleBigPlanet Papercraft - Sackboy / Sackgirl

One of the big PlayStation 3 titles coming out this fall is LittleBigPlanet, a puzzle platformer and world creation video game. In the game you control small characters individually refered to as either a "Sackboy" or "Sackgirl". Media Molecule, the developer of the game, has released a blank Sackboy papercaft pattern for you to design. You can make it a Sackgirl if you want or you can mix both into the design if you prefer that kind of thing.

Video Game Papercraft - PC Gamer

Yesterday, I went to my local Barnes and Noble bookstore to check out a new section on the store that is carrying imported Japanese books, mostly manga, anime, and origami stuff. Sad to say I didn't find anything related to papercrafts. So I went to the magazine section to check out some video game mags and there it was, a (Fallout 3) Vault Boy papercraft staring at me. I quickly grabbed the mag and tried to see what other stuff was in it. The magazine is the PC GAMER HOW TO: The Ultimate Guide to DIY Gaming edition. I went straight to the particular article, they called it "Gaming Papercraft! Time To Test Your Finger Dexterity" - the first one is a simpler version of Portal's weighted companion cube, followed by the Fallout 3 Vault Boy, then a Bioshock Big Daddy papercraft, and finally a Half-Life 2 Gordon Freeman papercraft. The mag also indicates that all the paper models were done in Pepakura Designer. It's not the best of models, but it's good enough for beginners.

I know I'm going to receive a lot of request for a scan, but this one is a no go. The mag is only $10 cheap and its available everywhere, I think anybody interested can afford this one. Pardon the quality of the photos, my camera phone is old.

The Cubic Character web site has a new Gundam papercraft, the RX-178 Gundam Mark-II mobile suit is from the Universal Century Gundam anime series and has made many appearances on various video games including Mobile Suit Gundam: AEUG vs Titans (PlayStation 2), Dynasty Warriors: Gundam (PlayStation 3), Gundam Battle Royale (PSP), and the Super Robot Wars series. This Gundam Mk was the the first to feature the dark blue, black with red and yellow highlights paint job.

Portal Papercraft - the cake is a lie!

Yes, this is the black forest cake that was promised as a reward on the Portal video game and no, you can't eat it. "The cake is a lie" is a phrase popularized by the Portal game and can be seen scribbled around on the backstage areas of the Aperture Science Laboratories. The cake was used by GLaDOS as a motivating perk for solving the intricate puzzles on the laboratory. This cake papercraft is from designer Mike McDermott, check it out.

The official Warhawk web site has a new update, two new paper models featuring both Eucadian and Chernovan papercraft tanks. Add them to the previous Warhawk paper models (two aircrafts and two jeeps) and we've got ourselves a fight. All of them are designed by paper engineer Nobutaka Mokouyama and are property of Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA).

Team Fortress 2 Papercraft - Update

The last time we had some Team Fortress 2 papercraft here on the site it included the Heavy, Pyro, and the Spy. Fast forward several weeks later and thanks to our friend Guillermo, we now have new additions to the group. This time around, it's the Sniper, Medic, Engineer, and Scout paper models that are available for dowload. I've put the links individually so you can go straight to the pattern.

Warhawk Papercraft - Chernovan & Eucadian Jeep 4x4

The official Warhawk web site disappeared for a while, came back with a new look minus the papercrafts. Then a few weeks after that, they put back the paper models, but this time one of the Eucadian Warhawk papercraft was missing, it was the ultra-realistic version. I don't know the reason for that, but what I do know is that the Warhawk Chernovan and Eucadian Jeep Papercraft is now available for you to download. These papercrafts were designed by Nobutaka Mukouyama for Sony Computer Entertainment America.
