Russia Church of the Transfiguration Papercraft

Russia Church of the Transfiguration Papercraft Built in the early 1700's during Peter the Great's reign, the Church of Transfiguration (on Kizhi Island) is popularly known for being Russia's nailless wooden church.

The Church of the Transfiguration has twenty two onion domes sheathed in hundreds of aspen shingles. Too bad Russia didn't care for it much, over the years it has succumbed to fire, rot, and insects.
